Janice Hennecke, 87, of Argillite, Kentucky, died Sunday morning, August 22nd, at her home while under hospice care. She was born February 28, 1934 in Ashland, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Grant and Maggie Dillow Broughton. Janice was a member of Brush Creek Freewill Baptist Church and was retired, after 19 years, from Pathways. She enjoyed attending church and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband, Charles Elwood Hennecke in 2019, and 6 brothers and 5 sisters. She is survived by 2 sons; Terry Hennecke, and wife Patty, of Brunswick, Georgia. Randy Hennecke, and wife Dana, of Naples, Kentucky. 3 daughters; Sheila Riffe, and husband Ron, of Argillite, Kentucky. Cindy Sandhop, and husband Paul, of Trenton, Ohio. Nita Coffee, and husband Jim, of Naples. 12 grandchildren; Chris Riffe, Kevin Riffe, Shawna Shannon, Brandon Sandhop, April Ramsey, Jeremy Hennecke, Jessica Winchell, Natalie Fultz, Matthew Fultz, Teria Hennecke, Phillip Coffee, Bridget Prichard. 13 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 26th, at 1:00 PM at PRESTON FAMILY FUNERAL HOME. Burial will be in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Thursday from 11:00 AM until service time.
