HENRY W. (HANK) HEMSATH Funeral services for Henry W. (Hank) Hemsath, 67, of 1122 Columbia St. will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Methodist Church with the Rev. James W. Fouke, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Garden of Memories.

Mr. Hcmsalh died at St Francis Hospital Wednesday 5:30 p.m. of cirrhosis of the liver. He was born in Black Hawk County March 23, 1900, the son of Fred and Ida Tjaden Hemsath. He married Marie Eldridge Sept. 18, 1918, Dunkerton.

Mr. Hemsath worked for Crystal Ice and Fuel Co and then the John Deere Tractor Works until his retirement in 1959. Mr. Hemsath was a member of St. Paul's Methodist Church and the Eagles' Lodge.

He is survived by his widow; three sons, Clyde of Cheyenne, Wyo., Elmer of Omaha, Neb., and Clifford of Canyon City, Colo.; four daughters, Mrs. Glenn Curtis of Lamont, Mrs. Edward Henn of 167 Michigan Drive, Elk Run Heights, Mrs. Delbert Timson of 1015 Downing St. and Mrs. Jerry Barnett of 924 W. 12th St., Cedar Falls;; three brothers, Carl of Hardy, Ark., Ernest of Dewar and Ralph of 1141 Patton St.; two sisters, Mrs. Elmer Weidman of 330 North Roosevelt R d . Evansdale, and Mrs. Elmer Eldridge of Dunkerton; 3 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Mr. Hemsath was preceded death by his parents, two brothers, three sons, two daughters and five grandchildren.

Friends may call at Locke Funeral Home until 9:30 a.m. Saturday when the casket will be moved to the church.
