Walter W. "Jim" Brinkley, 81, of Georgetown, passed away on June 28, 2008 at his home surrounded by his family, following a lengthy illness. He was born in Clarksburg, WV, a son of Raymond and Elnora Brinkley. He was a retired employee of the Aliquippa Works of J&L Steel Corp. He was also a US Army veteran. He enjoyed gardening and raising rabbits.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mabel Robinson Brinkley on Feb 4, 1992; six brothers andd four sisters, Raymond, Russell, Howard, Paul, Carl, Homer, Mary, Helen, Jean and Doris.
He is survived by four sons and one daughter, grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
