Virginia R. (nee Orrico) Nimon, 93, of Jersey City passed away on February 21, 2020. Born in Jersey City, she was a lifelong resident. She was a billing clerk for Bank of America for 31 years retiring in 1991. She was a devoted member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church supporting its many community functions, and always volunteered for the Bingo Kitchen, Secretary of the Rosary Society, and was a Financial advisor for the Annual Card party.
She was the beloved wife of the late John P. Nimon. Loving mother of Susan and her husband Andrew Sandel, John T. and his wife Joan Nimon. Dear sister of the late Frank, Peter, Louis, Russell, Ralph, Angelo, Stella Orrico, and Marie Maio. Cherished grandmother of Melissa (Chris) Boyer, Andrew B. Sandel, Jeffrey (Jaque) Nimon, and Jaclynne (Steven) Huster. Devoted great-grandmother of Michael and Natalie Boyer, Reagan and Charles Sandel, and Lillian Huster. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
