Peter was a supervisor for 33 years with the American Can Co. in Jersey City, retiring in 1971. Peter organized and served as president of the Factory Workers Union and the White Collar Workers Union of the American Can Co.
Peter was devout parishoner and member of the 50 Plus Club of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Jersey City. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Chapter #137, Jersey City, and also a member of the Italian American Social Club in the Marion Section of Jersey City. Peter was an organizer for the Marion Section Contingent of the Columbus Day Parade in Jersey City. He also took night courses at the St. Peter's Institute of Industrial Relations at St. Peter's Prep in Jersey City.
Beloved husband (65 years) of Angelina "Angie" (nee Zazzarino), devoted father of Susan & her husband James Cena & Peter J. Orrico, loving son of the late Giovanni & Assunta (nee Marino), dear brother of Virginia Nimon & the late Louis, Marie Maio, Frank, Stella, Russell, Ralph "Bill" & Angelo Orrico, dear brother-in-law of Filomena Zazzarino, also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews.
