Mrs. Martha Jane Baldwin Briggs, 83, 50 N. Main, died Wednesday at 1:50 p.m. in a Salt Lake hospital of a heart ailment. Born July 10, 1882, Beaver, to Jesse and Martha D. Fullmer Baldwin. Married to Franklin Joseph Briggs Jan. 21, 1901, Beaver. He died May 12, 1948. Employed New Method Cleaners 10 years. Member LDS Church.
Survivors: sons and daughters, Franklin J., New York; Aubry B., Mrs. Jesse (Echo) Kalawala, both Salt Lake City; Mrs. Floyd (Thelma) Rawlins, Paradise, Cache County; Mrs. Estelle Peterson, Oakland, Calif.; 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; sisters Mrs. Sadie Patterson, Parawan, Iron County; Mrs. Estelle McIntire, Ontario, Calif.
Funeral Saturday noon, 260 E. South Temple, where friends may call Friday 6-8 p.m., or Saturday prior to services. Burial Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
