MRS. LIBBIE EARING
Funeral services were held at the Methodist church on Saturday afternoon for Mrs. Libbie Earing, whose death occurred last Wednesday following a long illness at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Cora Beach, Oneonta. The Rev. Kenneth Kingston,
assisted by the Rev. Wilbur S. Dodge of Milford. officiated. Burial was in the Westville Cemetery with Seeber Bates, Nellis Garlock, Arthur Wood and George Robinson as bearers.
Mrs. Earing was born in the town of Westford, March 23, 1868, daughter of Crosby and Catherine (Nellis) Vanderveer. Her first husband was Archie VanPatten, and her second husband, Edsil Baldwin, after whose death she married Wellington Earing,now deceased. She was a member of Westville Methodist church and the W. C. T. U. Most of her life was spent in this vicinity.
She is survived by one son, Raymond Baldwin of this place, six daughters, Mrs. Lelia Brown, Mrs Susie Earing, Mrs. Viola Smith, Mrs Gladys Blanchard, and Mrs. Cora Beach of Oneonta and Mrs. Mae Roberts of Sharon Springs; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
