Bravo-Kapper, Brenda (Nee Bravo-Fernandez ) Passed away March 20, 2016 at the age of 68. Beloved wife of Howard Kapper. Loving mother of Joseph Kapper. Cherished sister of Dr. Caridad Bravo and Lucia (Henry) Bakemeyer. Dear sister-in-law of Miles (Robin) Kapper, Sally (David) Moskol and Charles Kapper. Loving aunt of Enrique and Karoline Bakemeyer, Annie and Samantha Moskol, and Victoria Kapper. Further survived by other loving relatives and dear friends. Brenda immigrated to the United States seeking intellectual and political freedom. She led a distinguished career as a Spanish Foreign Language teacher. She loved Cuban food, British mysteries, fine arts, and travel. Brenda will be remembered by her loved ones for her generosity and her zest for life. A celebration of Brenda's life will be held on Monday, March 28 at 2:00 PM AT THE FUNERAL HOME. The family will receive calls of condolence from 1:00 PM until the time of services. On Tuesday, March 29 a funeral mass will be held in the Pius XI High School chapel at 2:00 PM.
