Wesley A. McFadden, 74, 1222 W. 14th street, a horse buyer here for the last 43 years, died at an Iow City hospital. Mr. McFadden was born May 11, 1874, at Apple River, Ill. He and Mrs. McFadden observed their golden wedding anniversary December 15. In addition to the widow, Effie, survivors include a daughter, Mrs. L. C. Sexton of Rapid City, S. D.; two sons, Myron C. of Kansas City, Mo., and Wesley E. of Los Angeles; a brother, William, of Dows, Ia.; three sisters, Mrs. Alice Poyzer of Hampton, Ia., Mrs. Maggie Wing of Warren, Ill., and Mrs. Eva Schoenhard of Scales Mound., Ill., and one granddaughter. The body was taken to the Anderson funeral home.

Funeral services for Wesley A. McFadden, 74, 1222 W. 14th street, a horse buyer here who died at an Iowa City hospital, will be held at 3 p.m. today at Anderson's funeral home. Rev. Harry Nelson of the Whitfield Methodist church will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial park cemetery.
