MRS. EVA CLARK'S FUNERAL TO BE HELD HERE TODAY
Death Overtakes Wife of Early Settler.
In the death Friday of Mrs. Eva Clark, wife of Riley Clark, Yellowstone county loses one of its oldest pioneer residents. Mrs. Clark died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Ginn, 120 South Thirty-fifth street, shortly after being brought here from the Clark ranch on Dean creek, Musselshell county.
The Clarks came to Montana about 40 years ago and have lived on the ranch on Dean creek a major portion of that time. In the early days they traded at Billings, freighting supplies over the rough trail and driving their cattle and horses to market in the fall. The family has a wide acquaintance among old-timers of this section.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Clark is survived by three daughters, Mrs. James Young of Klein, Mrs. Claud Lacy of Roundup, and Mrs. Walter Badgett of Dean creek. The Rev. J.O. Randall will conduct the services at the Ginn home at 2 o'clock this afternoon. Burial will be made at the Billings cemetery.
