After several years beyond the passing of her husband Sam, Ada moved to Erie to be near her daughter Isabel and took up residence at the Niagara Village Assisted Living Apartments where she enjoyed new friends and social activities.
Ada was a member of Holy Rosary Church as a devout Catholic and the Johnsonburg Senior Center where she helped to serve meals to others. She enjoyed visiting with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren which became her focal point in her life as what gave her great pleasure. She also loved to cook, knit and to crochet.
She is survived by 2 children; Dr. Frank D. Aiello and his wife Mary of Irwin, PA and Isabel J., Mrs. Carlo Orlando of Erie, 4 grandchildren; Carlo Orlando, Jr., Rori, Mrs. Michael Mull, Katlin McCusker and Ryan Aiello and his wife Lori and 6 great-grandchildren; Sam and Jessie Aiello, Francesca and Ronin Mull and Lucas and Nash McCusker.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by brothers; Mario and Giuseppe Pingitore and sisters; Georgina Bevacqua and Maria Villella. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Ada Aiello will be conducted at Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg on Saturday August 14, 2021 at 10 AM with Fr. David Wilson as celebrant. Interment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Johnsonburg.
Friends will be received at the Anthony F Ferragine Funeral Home and Cremation Services Chapel, 401 Chestnut Street Johnsonburg, Pa on Friday evening, August 13, 2021 from 5 to 7 PM.
