My great aunt Lovie Harrell Crowe was the daughter of John Spencer Harrell and Nancy Alavan Willis. She married Henry Dewey Crowe Sept 07, 1921, son of William Crow and Fannie Potter.

Children:

1. Henry Dewey Crowe, b. 1923, GA; d. During WWII.

Dewey "Buddy" was shot down over Corsica in WWII. He made it to his life raft, but then never heard from him again. - from Drew L Vickers III, cousin

" When Buddy was shot down she (his mother Lovie) woke up Dewey, Sr and told him that something had happened to Buddy. The next day they got the noticed and neither one of them ever got over it. He was such a fine young man....He had his flight training at Spence Field here in Moultrie, GA." - from Elaine Vickers Dorough, Cousin
