He was an avid NASCAR fan and a member of the Louisville Model Car Club. John enjoyed spending time with his family and snuggling, cuddling and watching toons with his granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his son, John Christopher Armes; parents, William and Goldie Muss Armes, Sr and brothers, Arley Muss, Lindsey Muss and William Armes, Jr.
John is survived by his wife, Connie Armes; children, William Armes, Adrienne (Joseph) Gibbs and Patrick Armes; grandchildren, Alyssa, Breanna, Cheyenne, Delaina and Baby E; brother, James Armes, Sr and 3 nephews.
Visitation will be Monday, August 9, 2021, from 4pm-8pm. A celebration of John's life will be Tuesday, August 10, 2021, beginning at 1pm at the funeral home. John will be laid to rest at Bethany Memorial Cemetery, 10915 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY.
