Drowned - Little Bennett, the 13 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Beck of north of town, was drowned at the Radliff Ford on Jack's Fork Wednesday noon. It seems that Mr. and Mrs. Beck and Bennett were spending the day on the creek, and while his parents were eating dinner Bennet went wading. His father and mother both saw the bubbles arising out in the water, but supposed Bennett was playing, until he failed to come up. This scared Mr. Beck, who could not swim, but he waded out and brought the boy to bank, where all means of resuscitation failed. The remains were interred Thursday in the Mountain View cemetery, and the sorrowing parents and relatives have the sympathy of the entire community.
