Harold (Hal) Ferrell Cluff of Meridian, Idaho passed away Nov. 17, 2007. Harold was born March 10, 1936 to parents Ralph and Lillie Cluff. Harold is survived by his wife, Elaine; sons, Truett Black and Cory Black; daughters, Janine Hinton, Rachel Harper, and Dana Black; 24 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Brothers, Ralph, David, Thomas, Benjamin, Steven; and sister, Joy survived Harold also. His parents; brother, William; and his sons, Don Harold Cluff and David Paul Black predeceased him. Harold served 43 years in the Untied States Air force beginning with the Idaho Air Guard and retiring as a Major. He retired in 1996 from Northwest Airlines after 33 years as a commercial airline pilot. Harold was also a Dairyman, Architect and Builder of custom homes. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was a Temple worker at the time of his death. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, Nov. 23, 2007 at the Amity and Locust Grove Meridian L.D.S. Chapel. Friends may call to visit with the family from 9 until 9:45 a.m. at the church prior to the services. Burial will follow in Canyon Hill Cemetery in Caldwell, Idaho with full military honors. Services are under the direction of Relyea Funeral Chapel.
