Margaret Alma Trokey
July 30, 2021:

Margaret Alma Trokey, age 93, of Fulton, Missouri passed away on Friday, July 6, 2021 at Fulton Manor Care Center in Fulton.

Margaret was born January 9, 1928, in Potosi, Missouri, daughter of Harrison and Effie Mae (Huitt) Allen. On November 29, 1947, Margaret was united in marriage to Eddie Trokey and he preceded her in death on October 23, 2005.

Growing up in Potosi, Missouri, Margaret had the nickname "Frisky" that was given to her by her brother-in-law.

After she and Eddie were married they lived in Potosi, St. Louis amd Hillsbora, Missouri. Margaret was a homemaker while her children were small and enjoyed taking care of them and her home. She later enjoyed all those she met as a grocery clerk in Otto, Missouri, from where she retired. After her retirement Margaret and Eddie moved to Fulton, Missouri. The couple became members of St. Peter Catholic Church in Fulton.

Margaret was happiest when she was cooking for her family. She enjoyed being with and spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, being at their sporting, music and school events. Eddie and Margaret enjoyed their vegatable and flower garden, canning, making pickles and salsa. Margaret also enjoyed Eddie's horses and mules.

Margaret will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her son, Daniel Trokey (Carol) of Fulton, Missouri; daughter, Carol Warren (Glenn) of Joelton, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Glen Warren 11 (Justyna), Chris Warren (Joy), Sarah Ingstad (Chris), Rachel Sanderson (Jake) and Claire Trokey; tenderly remembered by nine great-grandchildren, Emma, Micah, Daniel, Samuel, Matthew, Calvin, Laurel, Andrew and Iris; sadly missed by sister-in-law, Mert Pashia, many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband of fifty-seven years, Eddie Margaret was preceded in death by brothers, Ralph, Russell, Ken and Ben Allen; sisters, Blanche Jarvis and Mae Burbank.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at St. Peter Catholic Church in Fulton, Missouri with Father Joseph Abah officiating. Family will recieve friends from 9:00am until .the time of Mass at the church. Internment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Peter Catholic Church.
