Winfield J. Gabhart, 88, of Main Street, Mackville, died Monday, July 19, 1999 at the Norton Spring View Hospital in Lebanon.

A native of Washington County, he was born on May 28, 1911 to the late Thomas and Matilda Devine Gabhart.

He was a retired farmer and a member of the Mackville
Church of Christ.

Preceding him in death were four sisters, Lillian Hale, Dora
Shewmaker, Anna Bruce Settles and Bea Terflinger and two
brothers, Roy Gabhart and George Gabhart.

Survivors include his wife, Edith Bowles Gabhart and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 21, at the Mackville Church of Christ with Bro. Harry Coultas, a former minister, officiating. He was
assisted by Bro. Rick Murphy also a former minister.

Burial was in the Peter Cemetery at Mackville.
Serving as honorary pallbearers were Granville Moore, Joe Settles, Mark Moore, Pete Carey, Richard Carey, Steve Settles and
Norman Darland.

Active bearers were Carlton Shewmaker, Billy Yankey,
Gerald Peavler, Barry Peavler, Jim Powell and Sandy Carey.

Carey & Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
