Mrs. Patsy Ruth Perry, 77, of Holcomb, passed away Friday, July 30, 2021 at Select Specialty Hospital in Jackson.

Patsy was born Wednesday, January 12, 1944 in Attala County, the only daughter of six children, to Elmer M. and Frances Yates Bennett. Patsy worked for the Grenada County School District in the Cafeteria and Fred's Dollar Store before retiring as a homemaker. Mrs. Perry was a member of Bethel Baptist Church near Holcomb. She very much enjoyed quilting, sewing, gardening and fishing.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Rev. Kevin Tribble and Rev. Larry Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Carroll County. The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 7:00 PM Monday evening and one hour prior to the service Tuesday all at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include two sons, James M. "Mike" Perry, Sr., and his wife Jo Ann Artman Perry, and William G. Glen Perry; and five grandchildren, James M. "Jed" Perry, Jr., Carson B. Perry, Devin Perry Blackwelder and her husband, Dusty, Colton Perry and Landon Perry.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Monroe Perry; and five brothers, Richard Bennett, Larry Bennett, Elmer Bennett, Jimmy Bennett and Alec Wayne Bennett.

Pallbearers will be Colton Perry, Landon Perry, James Perry, Jr., Shane White, Cade Billingsley and Dusty Blackwelder.
