James M. Perry

James M. Perry, 77, of Holcomb, died Monday at his residence.

Mr. Perry was retied employee of Lehman Roberts. He was member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Disabled American Veterans.

Mr. Perry was also a United States World War II Army veteran. He received the Purple Heart.

The funeral was at 2 p.m. today at Garner-Harper Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Larry Edwards and Jim Nunley, and Dr. Fred Lawrence officiating. Burial was in Pisgah Cemetery in Carroll County.

Mr. Perry is survived by his wife, Patsy Bennett Perry of Holcomb; two sons, James Michael Perry of Holcomb and William Glen Perry of Grenada; a sister, Erma Childs of Holcomb; and three grandchildren, Devin Perry, Colton Perry and Jed Perry.

Pallbearers were Ronald Edwards, Donald Edwards, Tim Bennett, Rodney Mainelli, Shane White and Colin White.

Garner-Harper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
