Mr. Anderson was born in Wilkes County, June 12, 1929 to Lee Anderson and Eddie A. Anderson.
In addition to his parents and wife, Sallie Pennell Anderson, Mr. Anderson was also preceded in death by several sisters and brothers.
Mr. Anderson is survived by three daughters, Nancy Mathis, Judy Allen, and Joyce Faw all of North Wilkesboro; four sons, Ray Anderson of North Wilkesboro, Ernest Johnson of Lancaster, SC, Charles Johnson of Fort Long, SC, and Billy Johnson of Spartanburg, SC; one sister, Evie Benge of North Wilkesboro; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; one great, great grandchild.
