San Jose, IL - Floyd Raymond Imig, 82, of San Jose, Ill., died Sunday, Oct. 22, 2006, at 11 p.m. at the Mason City Area Nursing Home.

He was born in rural San Jose, Ill., on Dec. 17, 1923, to Jacob and Anna (Jacob) Imig. He married Dorothy Yardley on Jan. 3, 1943, at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in San Jose. She survives.

Surviving are his wife, Dorothy; three sons, Terry (Sharon) Imig of Romeo, Mich., Ricky Imig of Clinton, Ill., and Randy (Jennifer) Imig of St. Elmo, Ill.; four brothers, Paul (Dorothy) Imig of San Antonio, Texas, Walter Imig and Henry (Shirley) Imig, both of San Jose, Ill., and Duane (Carol) Imig of Boca Raton, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Mr. Imig was preceded in death by two daughters-in-law, Theresa Imig and Gloria Imig, and three sisters, Helen Dierker, Vera Rabbe and Florence Behrends, and one sister-in-law, Hazel Imig.

Mr. Imig graduated from San Jose High School and also was a farmer.

Burial will follow at Allens Grove Cemetery.
