Regina Barbara Butler, 76, of Girard, Kansas died Monday, February 22, 2021 at the Girard Medical Center in Girard, Kansas. She was born November 26, 1944 at Walnut, Kansas the daughter of Joseph Pierce and Anastasia Catherine (Davied) Butler.
Reginia was retired from the Parsons Ammunition Plant where she had worked for 25 years. She was raised in Walnut, Kansas and graduated from Greenbush Grade School and later from Girard High School.
Regina had lived most of her life in Girard. She was a member of St. Michaael's Catholic Church in Girard, the Daughters of Isabella at St. Paul, and St. Michael's Altar Society. She also helped serve funeral dinners at the church.
Survivors include two sisters, Joan Mages of Wright, Kansas and Loretta Vice of Bucklin, Kansas, three brothers, Pat (Norma) Butler of Manhattan, Kansas, Donald Butler of Ft. Collins, Colorado and Gerald Butler of Girard, Kansas and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Rosemary Bayer and two brothers, John Joe Butler and Bob Butler.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12 p.m. on Sat. Feb. 27, 2021 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Girard, Kansas with Father Floyd McKinney as the celebrant. Bedene Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorials to the Greenbush Historical Society.
