FORT PIERCE - Leona M. Barnett, 65, of Fort Pierce died Saturday, Aug. 11, 2001.
A native of Elizabethtown, Ky., she lived in Fort Pierce for 20 years. She moved here from Nashville, Tenn.
She worked in customer service at Kmart, Fort Pierce, for 13 years.
She was a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church, Fort Pierce.
She was predeceased by her husband, Charles F. Barnett Jr.
Survivors include a daughter, Monica B. Smith of Birmingham, Ala.; two sons, Michael D. and Larry S. Barnett, both of Fort Pierce; three sisters, Rose Day of Louisville, Ky., and Bonnie Helms and Patty Sheroan, both of Rineyville, Ky.; three brothers, Al Meredith of Bowling Green, Ky., Billy Meredith of Colorado, and Jody Meredith of Rineyville; and six grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Haisley-Hobbs Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14, at St. Mark's Catholic Church.
Burial will be in White City Cemetery.
