Fannie Bishop, 95, formerly of Harrodsburg, died Monday, December 7, 1998 at her residence. Born April 23, 1903 in Rockcastle County, she was the daughter of the late James Lee and Polly Ann Griffin Arnold, and was the widow of George L. Bishop, Jr. She was a homemaker and a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church. Survivors include: one son, George O. Bishop, Harrodsburg; one daughter, Ruby Ingram, Lexington; one brother, Bruner Arnold, Richmond, IN; four grandchildren, six step grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one step great grandchild. Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 9, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel with Rev. Richard Easterling and Bro. Kenneth Preston officiating. Burial was in the Hopewell Cemetery.
