James B. Arnold. Sr. 89. of
Spiro died July 17. 1986 at the
Rockcastle County Hospital.
He was born in Franklin
County on Oct. 23.1897. the son of
the Late Lee and Polly Griffin
Arnold. He was a retired farmer
and Kentucky Utilities-line foreman
He is survived by: his wife.
Bertha Mink Arnold: two sons Jimmy
Arnold of Spiro, and Ernie of Goshen. Ohio:
a daughter. Mrs. Loretta Howe of
Knoxville. TN, two brothers. Bruner Arnold
and Otis Arnold, both of
Richmond. Ind.: a sister. Mrs.
Fannie Bishop of Harrodsburg.
nine grandchildren and three
great-grandchildren. He was preceded
in death by a son, two
brothers, and three sisters
Services were conducted July
19. at Dowell and Martin Funeral
Home by Bros. Arnold Larkin and
Thaddeus Eubank Burial was in
The Providence Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Frank Arnold
Donnie Arnold. Ronnie Arnold, David
Arnold.
