Music was provided by Mrs. Chris Laursen and Mrs. Bill Wessendorf with accompanist being Mrs. Gale Hansen. Caring for the flowers were Mrs. Ernest Buch, Mrs. L.A. Hansen, and Mrs. Clarence Shultz. Attendants were Howard Petersen, Donald Hansen, Ernest Buch, Glen Sanders, Ralph Petersen, and Orval Hamann. Interment was in the Newell Cemetery with Baak Funeral Home in charge.

She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Church in Dwight, Illinois. On December 20, 1895 she was united in marriage to Anton Bak of Dwight. To this union were born 5 children: Jens, Florence, Agnes, Myrtle, and Clarence. They lived 15 years in Illinois and came to Iowa in 1910 where she spent the remainder of her life on their farm west of Newell.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Anton; and two daughters: Agnes and Myrtle.
Surviving to mourn her passing are sons: Jens and Clarence of Newell; Florence (Mrs. Chris Johnson) of Alta; four grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
