Joseph A. "Joe" Keeney, 80, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away at Doeys House on Thursday, February 21, 2019. Born May 24, 1938 in Woodsboro, MD, he was the son of the late R. Brantly and L. Marie (Ray) Keeney. Joe worked as a bus mechanic and driver for 65 years. He is survived by his life partner of 28 years, Connie Ferrera; two daughters, Kathi Armitage and her son, Matthew and wife, Layla and their daughter, Cayleigh, and Jodie Burchett and her son, Alex; one brother, Brantly Keeney; two sisters, Mary Jane Jacobs, and Rose Marie Martin; numerous nieces and nephews; and step-son, Scott Ferrera and wife, Amy, and their children, Brittany, Briana, and Zachary. Per Joes request, there will be no funeral service. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Avenue, Hagerstown, MD 21742.
