Michael McGuigan was a son of James McGuigan and Bridget Gormley. He did not marry.

OBITUARY: Michael McGuigan. The Church of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary was almost filled to the doors yesterday morning with sympathizing friends of Mr. and Mrs. James McGuigan, when Rev. Father LeChesne sang High Requiem Mass over the remains of their 20 year old son Michael, who departed for the Better Land on Thursday last. The deceased who during his young life had made many friends, had been a sufferer of rheumatism for the past four years and during that time had borne his illness with calmness and fortitude. The funeral cortege left the family residence, 3052 Westminster Avenue, and proceeded to the chruch where the services were conducted at nine o'clock. Deceased was formerly a member of the Hillcrest Baseball team and the pall bearers were chosen from that organization and were: Percy Hicke, Cliff Hough, Carl Edwards, and Fred Duchwhellar, Father Connelly conducted the comittal rites at the cemetery.
