Born July 7, 1931 to Solomon J. Angell and Grace May Davis in Tintic Junction, Utah. Bob lived in many small towns along the railroads his father managed while growing up and graduated from Delta High School in 1949. Bob attended the Provo Utah Trade School and completed his schooling in Automobile Mechanics. Bob married his sweetheart Vera Ilean Turloupis on October 18, 1951, in Provo, Utah, later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on May 5, He then started his service in the US Marine Corps and was honorably discharged in 1959 at the rank of Lance Corporal.
Bob was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints while living in West Valley City (Hunter), Utah and served in numerous positions including Cub Scout leader, Boy Scout leader, Sunday School Presidency and teacher, Ward Clerk, Ward Executive Secretary, Choir member and Temple Worker at the Jordan River Temple. He loved to hunt, fish, wood working, automotive repair and to take scenic drives. Bob always loved being involved with various family activities including parties, children's school activities, sporting events, parades, and camping trips. We could always count on him being there with his smiling face.
Preceded in death by wife Vera (2007); and survived by his children: Ilean (Ron) Nelson, Anena (Tom) Tilt, Jay (Debbie) Angell and Maryanne (Larry) Howard;15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister JoAnne (Gayland) Orton.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 10th at 10:00 am at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 S. Redwood Road. Viewings will be held Friday, July 9th, 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Saturday prior to services from 9:00-9:45 a.m., also at McDougal Funeral Home. Home. Interment to be at Redwood Memorial Estates.
