Lavinia Louise Smith, 51 of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 in Paris. She was born on September 14, 1965 in Houston, Texas to her parents James Ray Dean and Martha (Barnett) Dean. Lavinia worked as a sales clerk at Academy Sports and was of the Baptist faith.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James Ray and Martha Dean and one brother, James "Bud" Oliver Dean.

She is survived by her companion, James Smith, of Paris; one son Tyler Smith, of Booneville; one daughter, Rebecca Booth, of Booneville; three sisters, Lisa Dean of Houston, Texas, Mary Haney and husband, Jimmy of Conroe, Texas, Anita Hardin and husband, Kenneth of Huffman, Texas; one brother, Russell Dean and wife, Donna of New Caney, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris, followed by the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. with burial in Oakwood Cemetery in Paris.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Kaczmarek, Sr., Mark Heissler, Jerry Terry, Edward Mott, Leonard Danes and Colton Adcock.
