Henry W. Fendler Dies in Hospital

Henry W. Fendler, 66, a Spokane resident most of his life, died yesterday in a hospital. He and his wife Mildred, who survives him, had been living recently at Twin Lakes, Idaho.

A retired service man for the Underwood Corp., Mr. Fendler was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Max W. (Pauline) Thaler, Spokane; a son, Robert W. Fendler, Minneapolis; six grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. C.H. Graedel, Mrs. Lares Nelson and Mrs. F.F. Cooper, all of Spokane, and Mrs. F.B. Totusek, Odessa; and two brothers, Luther C. Fendler, Spokane, and George M. Fendler, Portland.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday from the Messiah Lutheran Church, Longfellow and Belt, Rev. Forrest J. Clark officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Memorial Park. Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
