Graveside service for Pauline M. Thaler is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday at Riverside Memorial Park, Rev. Marvin Langeland officiating. Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Thaler died Tuesday at age 56. She was born in San Francisco, California, and moved to Spokane 43 years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church. She was active with Meals on Wheels.

Survivors include a son, Scott Thaler of Rancho Mirage, California; two daughters, Linda Thaler of Seattle and Lisa Thaler of Spokane; her mother, Mildred Fendler of Spokane; and a brother, Robert Fendler of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Memorials may be made to the Messiah Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 9122, Spokane, WA 99209.
