Her love for quilting gave her so much enjoyment and made her many friends in the quilting world. She was a beloved member of the Sandy Stitchers and Utah quilt guilds. She trained and appraised many quilts. She always had people reaching out to her for her knowledge of quilts. Linda was always willing to teach anyone who was interested in learning. Linda would also help out when needed to judge quilts at the State Fair. She was also very proficient at crochet.
Linda loved nothing more than being with her family. She had a unique bond with her daughter that only a mother and daughter can share. She took the time to form a special relationship with each of her grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Our family has a huge hole that that will never be filled. Linda made everyone feel special and important.
She is preceded in death by her parents George and Thelma. She is survived by her daughter Marie (Jimmy) Cade of Sandy, UT, step-son Glen (Kim) Roderick of Puyallup, WA, grandchildren Jordan and MacKenzie Roderick, Rylee and Wyatt Cade, siblings Charlene Halligan, George (Teresa) Zupan and Connie (Tom) Nunley, 14 nieces and nephews who were very much honorary children and grandchildren, very special friends Virginia Lee, Susie (Brian) Jones and the Bartons and many others.
