Mrs Sarah Jane Apple, daughter of Samuel and Mary Ann Pence, was born September 5, 1836, near St Paris and peacefully passed to her heavenly home May 2, 1910, aged 74 years, 7 months, 17 days. She was united in marriage with John Apple, October 28, 1857. To this union were born six sons and two daughters. Her husband went to his heavenly home on October 5, 1909. Her daughter and four sons living realize keenly the loss of a fond and faithful mother. Funeral services at the Lutheran Church in St Paris Thursday, May 5th, conducted by Pastor Rev AC Martin. Interment in Spring Grove Cemetery.
