Marjorie E. Wharton, 84, passed away after a brief illness November 13, 2011. Born in Fort Dodge, Iowa, she was an area resident for 60 years. She was everything to everyone and will be truly missed by all.

Renowned for her cooking (especially her chili), caring about her family and friends she always thought of doing good deeds for others. She had a very quick wit and always enjoyed making people laugh with her infectious sense of humor.

Preceded in death by sons, Robert C. and Michael A. and grandchildren, Aaron Wharton and Tara Lyons, she is survived by sons, James of Tallmadge, Ronald (Lois) of Columbus and daughter, Sheila (Allan) Lyons of Stow; grandchildren, Ryon (Jamie) Wharton, Traci (Daniel) Hippich, Chrissie (Chris) Martin, Jason (Tosha) Wharton, Lora (Jason) Oaks, Katie Wharton, Nathan Lyons and Brooke Lyons; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Nicholas, Lauryn, Leeta, Carly, Jack, Caitlin, Ben, Anna and Cauline.

Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.,, where Pastor Jim Case will conduct service Friday at 1 p.m. Interment at Tallmadge Cemetery. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 525 North Broad Street, Canfield, Ohio, 44406.
