Alfred was born on September 15th, 1927, in Fannystelle, MB. He grew up farming as the family moved. Settling in Balmoral, he was a farmer there for nearly 70 years.
He lived on the family farm with his Wife Doris, they had 3 sons Roger, Duane, Greg, and a daughter Debbie.
He worked his whole life, working in many industries. Working in construction, packing houses, sheet metal fabrication, as a taxi driver, and delivering coal.
He always had a knack for building things to solve problems that would come up around the farm.
Alfred was preceded in death by his wife Doris, son Greg, brothers Edmond and Otto, and sister Tina. He is survived by three children Roger(Diane), Duane(Roberta), and Debbie(Steve); his sisters Jean(Bruno) and Bernice(Keith); sister-in-law Rosie(Peter); grandchildren Jason, Cheryl, Keith, Pete, Nula, and Daniel; eight great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
