Ernest A. Boyer
Ernest A. Boyer, 76, of 4 Richview avenue, died this morning at 11:10 o'clock at the North Adams hospital following an illness of about three years from complications. He had been at the hospital a little more than two weeks.
Born in Sherrington, Canada. Mr. Boyer came to North Adams about 60 years ago and had since made his home here. For 22 years he was employed in the printing room at the Windsor Print Works, retiring three years ago because of his health. Mr. Boyer was devoted to his home and his family and enjoyed the highest esteem of many friends in North Adams. He was a member of Notre Dame church, the Moose and Foresters of America.
Mr. Boyer leaves two daughters, Mrs. Ernest Brooks, with whom he made his home, and Mrs. George Garrison of Williamstown, four sons, Ernest, Henry and Arthur Boyer of North Adams and Armand Boyer of Williamstown, two brothers, Joseph Boyer of North Adams and Alphonse Boyer of Whitingham, Vt., a sister, Miss Naomi Boyer of Troy, N.Y., and 11 grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements have not been made.
