Salita/Seleter Barnett was the wife of John Adam Miller. She died sometime after 1840 where she is shown as being between 70 to 80 years of age while residing in 265th District Franklin County GA. Salita/Seleter does not appear in the 1850 US Census Records so it appears she died between 1840 and 1850 and no estate records were found for her. She and John Adam Miller had sons Asa R, Uriah, James, and 2 daughters Dicey married to William Harris and Cynthia married to David Carson,. She does not appear in the 1850 Franklin Co, GA Census records so her burial location is not known. She was mentioed in the will of John Adam Miller in 1818 in Franklin County, GA as his wife; she and their son Uriah Miller were the Executors of his Estate per Georgia, U.S., Wills and Probate Records, 1742-1992 . The Miller's were previously residing in Pendleton Dist, SC and sold a plantation there in 1811, but had already purchased land on Nails Creek in Franklin County,Georgia in 1808 per Franklin County, Georgia deed records. Seleter Miller asked to be dismissed from Mountain Creek Baptist Church in Pendleton Dist, SC in the Septeber term, 1808.
