Adria Louise Martinez, 71, of Akron, Indiana passed at 3:58 pm, Wednesday, June 2, 2021 in transition to her home after an extended stay at Kosciusko Community Hospital.

Adria was born on April 16, 1950 in Plymouth, Indiana to the late Lloyd A. and Betty Drusilla (Ivey) Morgan.

She was a 1968 graduate of Akron High School. Adria was a homemaker and took pride in raising her family. She was in earlier years a member of the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls of Akron. She enjoyed working with the Tippecanoe High School Spanish classes and chaperoned to Mexico. She enjoyed reading, cooking, and crocheting.

She is survived by her children Leigh Anne Judy of Claypool, Tom and wife Kelly Roush of Michigan City, and Katrina Louise and Scott Franklin of Akron; 7 Grandchildren; 5 Great Grandchildren; sisters Allison Strevy of North Manchester and Denise and husband David Bussard of Akron; brothers Dr. James and wife Jan Morgan of Akron and Lloyd Jr. and wife Kathy Morgan of Akron.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Michele Braun and Drusilla Ann Morgan Whittenberger.

A private graveside service will take place in the Akron Cemetery, Akron, Indiana.

The services for Mrs. Martinez have been entrusted to Hartzler Funeral Home 305 West Rochester Street Akron, Indiana.

Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to Kindred Hospice.
