Anna L. Barder
Anna L. Barder, 83, of 128 W. Main St, Lykens, died Saturday at her home.
Born at Williamstown, May 31, 1913, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Anna Orr Moffett.
She was retired from the former Williams Grocery Store, Lykens, and the local garment industry.
She was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Lykens.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Surviving are a son, Robert J. Sr., Lykens; three daughters, Joan M. Twitchell and Mary M. Kiley, both of Brewer, Maine, and Patricia A. Barder, at home; a half-brother, George Coles, Middletown; two half-sisters, Joyce Stuppy, Lykens, and Gloria Huratiak, Tower City; a step-brother, Robert Coles, Schuylkill Haven; a step-sister, Dorothy Collins, Philadelphia; 20 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Lykens, by the Rev. Francis J. Karwacki. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. John M. Shultz Funeral Home, Lykens, is in charge of arrangements.
