Barber Sue Yancey, 80 of Manila, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2021 at NEA Baptist Hospital. She was born on September 21, 1940 in Mississippi to Joseph Olsie and Ladell Barber Maxey. She was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed crocheting, painting, and doing all types of crafts.
Survivors include; one son: Jimmy Yancey (Annette) of Manila; two daughters Jeanette Lasater (Phil) of Manila, Arkansas and Jodie Ohler (David) of Keiser; ten grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by; her parents: Joseph and Ladell Maxey; her husband: John David Yancey, Sr.; and one son: John David Yancey, Jr.
Pallbearers; grandchildren of Mrs. Yancey: Matt Davis, Jeremy Hudson, Jay Brooks, Dustin Lasater, Philip Lasater, and Joseph Yancey. Honorary Pallbearers; grandchildren of Mrs. Yancey: Noah Holt and Terry McCanless.
Graveside services will be held on June 1, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at the Manila, Cemetery with Bro. Larry Davis officiating under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
