Mrs. Henrietta Watson Austin passed away at the Flowers Hospital on July 29th and funeral services were held at Bethel Church Wednesday afternoon, July 30th, with the Rev. Alvin Smith and the Rev. John Sutphin officiating. Interment was in the Bethel cemetery with Lee Funeral home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Austin was born in Montgomery County Oct. 8, 1868, and was the widow of the late Anderson Austin.
She is survived by 5 daughters, Mrs. Etna Crook, Moorhead, Mrs. A. F. Corley, Starkville; Mrs. L.L. Fultz, Mrs. G.H. Booth and Mrs. John L. Irvin, all of Kilmichael; 5 sons, Henry, C.E., Ashley and Bryant Austin all of Kilmichael and Noel Austin of West Point. She also leaves several grandchildren.
