Marian Richards Landward, our loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away peacefully January 5, 2006. Born May 3, 1917 to Jane Taylor and Stayner Richards. Married John M Landward September 16, 1941 in the Salt Lake Temple. Marian graduated from the U. of U. with a degree in Home Economics and affiliated with Delta Gamma sorority. She was an active member of the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints and served in multiple positions. Later in life she worked as a real estate agent with Thayne and associates for 14 years. She also organized her local DUP in 1956 and remained a lifelong member.

Marian had six children whom she dearly loved and was supportive of them, her grandchildren, and great grandchildren all her life. She was pleased to have been a driving force for the rebuilding of her extended family's cabin at the Pines Ranch which we all love. Mom had spunk, a desire to help others, and an ability to endure well. We will all miss her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her brothers Robert Richards and William G. Richards, and her sister Mae Fotheringham.

Funeral Services were held on Monday, January 9th 2006 at 12:00 Noon in the Foothill 7th Ward Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 2215 East Roosevelt Ave (1455 So.).
