Reathie Corrine Fails Warren, 91, died Tuesday, July 20, 2004 in Collinsville, TX.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. at Crestview Memorial Park with Rev. Cory Hunton, officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Slay Memorial Funeral Center in Aubrey, TX.
Reathie was born February 26, 1913 in Portales, New Mexico to the late Bryant Rayford and Julia Perry Fails. Reathie and her family came to Texas in a covered wagon and settled in Megargel. She married Guy Hubert Warren from Round Timbers on October 19, 1932 in Olney. Reathie was a resident of Wichita Falls for 50 years and was in food service until retiring from the Pioneer Restaurants in 1988.
She was preceded in death by one son, Jimmie M.; three brothers, and two sisters.
Survivors include four daughters, Catherine Jean Smith of Collinsville, Julia Corrine Lewis of Pilot Point, Reatha Dell Stephens of Mountain Springs, and Connie Ann Lee of Kempner; four sons, Robert G. of West Haven, Conn., Bill L. of Wichita Falls, M.L. of Farmers Branch, and Johnnie C. of Dallas; twenty-one grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 10 to 12 p.m. Saturday, July 24, 2004 at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home.
