Mrs. Sarah Eleanor Tressler, 69, of
13234 Glissans Mill Road, Mount
Airy, died Wednesday, Oct. 26, at her
home.
She was the wife of Paul "Duck"
Wachter Tressler, who died in 1992.
Born Aug. 13,1925, in Nash County,
N.C., she was a daughter of the late
Walter and Phoebe Hale.
Surviving are two daughters,
Flossie B. Layton and LaRue
Beckley, both of Frederick; eight
grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren;
and three brothers.
Mrs. Tressler was preceded in
death by a son, Anthony C. Faulkner,
in 1983.
The family will receive friends
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday,
Oct. 28, at the Libertytown funeral
home. The Rev. Kenneth C.
Hamrick, of the Thurmont United
Methodist Church will officiate.
Interment will be in Locust Grove
Cemetery, in the Mount Airy area.
