Mr. Cummings worked for years at U.S. Reduction. He loved to ride motorcycles and loved to have fun. He was a member of Gateway Church (formerly Russellville Church of God). He was a wonderful husband and a great dad and grandfather and he loved taking care of his family.
The visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 23, 2021 at Gateway Church with the body lying in state one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Knights of Pythias Cemetery.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 63 years, Joy McDonald Cummings; son, Donnie Cummings (Sherrie); daughter, Vicky Cummings; grandchildren, Donnie Cummings II (Jamie), Brian Cummings (Ashley), Cristy Allen (Chris), Jeremy Cummings (Autumn), Jennifer Mansell (Caleb); great-grandchildren, Bradley Cummings, Annalena Cummings, Madison Cummings, Dakota Cummings, Carter Allen, Parker Allen, Cameron Allen, Lily Cummings (his best friend); and soon to arrive, baby Ava Mansell; sister, Margaret Lovett; brother, Vern Cummings; and a host of nieces & nephews.
The pallbearers will be Joe Mansell, Caleb Mansell, Brian Cummings, Dakota Cummings, Bradley Cummings, and John Quillen. The honorary pallbearers will be Alton Hicks and James McCullar.
