Helen L. Howard, 83, of Monticello, formerly of Rushville and Springfield, passed away at 10:40 p.m., August 31, 2014 at the Piatt County Nursing Home, Monticello.
There will be no services as she donated her body to the Anatomical Gift Association.
Miss Howard was born on November 8, 1930 in Macomb the daughter of Elzie and Susan (Icenogle) Howard.
She was an employee of the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana from 1962-1992.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and two brothers.
