Loretta M. Kedrowicz died on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 with her family at her side at Whispering Pines the Lodge in Plover.

Age 93 Loretta was born August 1, 1927 to the late Frank and Helen (Garski) Stanislawski. She was raised in the village of Rosholt and was the youngest and last surviving child out of ten kids. She attended St. Adalbert Grade school and Rosholt High School.

On October 19, 1946 she married Leland Kedrowicz at St. Adalbert Catholic Church. After their marriage they worked briefly in Milwaukee before returning to Rosholt to operate her parent's business, Frank's Bar. It became the Blue Bar, which they operated for 37 years. In those 37 years they sponsored many teams in bowling, horseshoes, pool and softball. Their teams entertained generations of Rosholt residents. Besides the tavern they also operated a local septic service for many years. They retired in 1986 and built a home in Rosholt.

In retirement they supported the community by delivering meals for the Meals on Wheels Program. The friendships developed in their community lasted a lifetime. Trick or Treating in the village brought her happiness. She liked to give out full-sized candy bars to each child, and she enjoyed when there were leftovers.

Loretta valued the time visiting family, friends, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Family, neighbors and friends all brought great joy. Phone calls, cards, letters and visits kept her entertained in later years. Television was always on whether it was EWTN, the Brewers, Ice skating or Steven Harvey and Family Feud. St. Adalbert Church remained important in her life. She was a member of the St. Adalbert Rosary Society for many years.

Survivors include a son; Michael (Lori) Kedrowicz, Waterford, WI., daughter; Patricia (Alan) Carter of Rosholt, three grandchildren; Jeffrey (Tricia) Kedrowicz, Abby (Ray) Auth and Lyndsey (Ryan) Herek, seven great grandchildren; Robby and Kaylee Kedrowicz, Jillian , Grayson and Bennett Auth, Madelyn and Carly Herek, and her Godchildren; Christine Kaminski, Frank Stanislawski and Kevin Sopa and many nieces and nephews.

Loretta was preceded in death by her parents; Frank and Helen Stanislawski, her husband Leland in 2003, six sisters; Clara Baran, Dorothy Gauger, Florence Rzentkowski, Irene Kezeske, Lillian Sopa and Caroline Kurszewski and three brothers; Edwin, Emil and Felix Stanislawski.

The family would like to thank Ascension Home Health Staff, Ascension Clinic Staff, Ascension St. Michael's Hospital Staff, Ascension ER staff, Portage County Home staff, Whispering Pines the Lodge Staff and Compassus Hospice. Many hands cared for Loretta. Special Thanks to Laurie Kostka, APNP and her nursing staff at Ascension, Ashely RN of Compassus Hospice. We will always remember her advice "always take care of children, children in the world." She never wanted to miss giving to a community food drive.

In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to the family for the St. Adalbert Church Fund. A Private family Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Adalbert Catholic Church. Rev. Thomas Nirappel officiated. Burial was in the St. Adalbert Parish Cemetery.

The Pisarski Funeral Home of Stevens Point is honored to be serving the family.
