She was born to the late Edward Thomas Bodey and Juanita Spann Bodey, March 1, 1933 in Birmingham, Alabama. Vivian was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, aunt, and friend.
She attended Gibson School and Woodlawn High School in Birmingham, Alabama from 1939-1951. During the course of her life she resided in Miami, Florida and Baton Rouge, LA before retiring back home in Alabama in 1981.
Vivian was predeceased by brothers, Edward Raymond Bodey (CA), Edward Thomas Bodey, Jr. (TN); sisters, Mary Louise Bodey Reynolds and Infant Ida Gladys Bodey of Birmingham, AL; loving daughter, Mickie Janine Smith Hoover of Birmingham, AL.
A graveside service will be held at Southern Heritage Cemetery on Monday, May 17, 2021 at 2:00 PM. Her family would like to express their thanks to her caregivers at Meadowview Nursing Center.
