Sherry Floyd Jamison was born on July 1, 1970 to Willie Johnson and Glenda Sue Bean. She was reared by her adopted parents Louis and Cardill Surratt-Floyd. Her angels came April 16, 2021 to take Sherry to her heavenly home.
Sherry Floyd-Jamison was born in New Albany, MS. She accepted Christ at an early age. She attended Macedonia Baptist Church from time to time. She attended Corinth High School and later went to Crystal Springs Job Corps in Crystal Springs, MS. Sherry was a caregiver for many years. She loved shopping, traveling, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.
Preceding Sherry in death is her infant son; her grandmother, Annie Boseman; grandfather Jessie James of New Albany, MS; birth father, Willie Johnson and birth mother Glenda Sue Bean; one brother, Willis Floyd; one aunt, Faye Bufford.
She leaves her precious memories to her only daughter, Kiondra Jones of Corinth, MS; three grandchildren: Akierra Brooks, Anthony Brooks, III and Aaliyah Jones; a god son Chris Siverand of New Orleans, LA; three sisters: Glenda Floyd(Tommy Hill) of Corinth, MS; Mary Ann(Chris) Channell of Georgia, Cheryl Vance of Ripley, MS; one brother Jamie Floyd; one fraternal aunt Odester McGlothian of Milwaukee, WI; three aunts: Revia Rogers of Corinth, MS, Betty McGee of Baldwyn, MS and Freddy Boseman of Counce, TN; two nieces, Makyia Vance of Ripley, MS and Kassara Floyd of Alabama; four nephews: Ferious Hill, Noreyan Hill and Jakylian Hill all of Corinth, MS and Dallian Vance of Ripley, MS; A special friend of 25 years, Kennon Strickland of Corinth, MS and a host of relatives and friends.

Sherry died from complications of COVID-19.
